However, I'm not hax0r, I am "slušné /dev/ce" (again, this is not translatable, in Czech it means "decent girl"). Being a student at my alma mater (FEE CTU, major in Computer Science), where I have been trying to make my way to the master's degree for four years already, and my employers (SuSE ČR) employee leaves almost no space for being „normal“, but it doesn't prevent me for feeling so anyway :-)
I was born in Skalica, which is a small provincial town in the western Slovakia (every orthodox geek will certainly remember it in connection with 8bit Didaktik computers) and that's the place where I spent the first 16 years of my life. Since to live with „gifted child“ label is sometimes not a big deal, I moved to Bratislava, where I started to attend Gymnázium Jura Hronca, more specifically International Baccalaureate programme. This is a school for similarly „handicaped“ kids. I made my way to the baccalaureate and then, two years of deep darkness came (which I still don't like to recall).
Then I started to study FEE. I passed the first four semesters without having to go through the hell on earth in the form of first comprehensive exam and consequently, I chose Computer Science major. Since the very beginning, I lived on PodOLee student's hostel and after some time, I began to dabble in the network administration and then (thanks to expressiveness of certain person) also with organization of *Fests and *Weekends. And, after four years, Sun came. Not that I didn't like the things there, but there's always something to be improved. Despite many great guys that worked there with me (my greetings go to Jakub, Robert, Jaromír, Pavúk and especially to Petr Z.:-) ), after half a year I gave up and I came to SuSE. Now I'm a satisfied little green chameleon...
P.S. Special thanks to Kathy Fabichová for photo and to ACMik for this domain and for many, many more...
